Dogs at the resort
Canine companions in the hotel
We welcome your furry best friends at the resort. Our designated dog-friendly 'Chestnut Cottage’ is perfect for a relaxing stay with your four-legged companion.
This cosy cottage is a self-contained haven and a glorious retreat after a day adventuring, and the secluded garden is the ideal spot for your fluffy bestie to explore.
When booking your stay, let us know you're bringing your dog, so that we can tailor your welcome with open arms and wagging tails.
We kindly ask that you remember all other areas of the hotel building, including our 1887 restaurant remain pet-free.
The Stables
Your furry friends are welcome in all our ground floor rooms at the Stables, including twin, double and family rooms. We simply ask that you avoid leaving them alone in the room unless they’re snug in their crate to prevent any accidents.
In rare cases, extra charges may apply for cleaning or damages. Let us know when you book, so we can prepare for your pooch!
The Grounds
Dogs are free to explore our grounds, just be mindful of resort vehicles and mountain bikers. Around the hotel it's best to keep your pooch on a lead and please avoid the fields with cattle, remember we're a working farm. The hills and walking routes are perfect for doggy adventures.
Furry friends are welcome in the Beinn Bar at Bo & Muc, though we kindly ask that you do not bring your dog into the restaurant and please keep them on their best behaviour, as not all guests share our enthusiasm for excitable pups.
Canine comfort fee
If you're bringing your furry friend along a small fee of £20 per dog, per room applies. It's important to remember your dog won't be able to join you for breakfast in the 1887 restaurant. Thanks for your understanding.
Home alone
When your furry friend is hanging out in the room, please make sure they are cosy inside their crate. No lonely howling, please!
Keep them close
We ask that you keep your buddy on a lead whenever you're exploring the hotel grounds and our beautiful gardens.
Down boy
Let's keep our lovely furnishings fur free, including bathtubs and showers. Should that not be the case, a £100 cleaning fee may apply.
Scoop the poop
We kindly ask that you to clean up after your dog and use the provided bins.
Muddy paws
After a day adventuring in the wilds, please take a moment to give your pooch (and your shoes) a thorough hose-down.
