Campbell's of Beauly
A trip to the Highlands is not complete without a visit to this exclusive store. Campbell's tailoring niche is sporting tweeds and Highland dress tailoring for many sporting resorts across the UK, as well as for those wanting to take to the dance floor for a reel.
The wide knitwear range and ready to wear tailored garments are relevant for today's market, and ensuring that the business continues to stay relevant is key to their longevity.
Established in 1858, Campbell's of Beauly is a thriving retail business as well as a busy tailoring workshop. The owners, Nicola & John Sugden, took over the reins in 2015, but their outlook remains reassuringly sympathetic to those who love this 'Highland gem' of a store. The fixtures and fittings are original, dating back to when the company was first established, giving the store a unique charm and feel. Maintaining the charming character of the retail store is as important to them as it is to Campbell's many loyal followers.
All Campbell's bespoke garments are made on site and the Campbell's name is synonymous with quality craftmanship and attention to detail Their new tailoring workshop was opened by HRH Prince Charles, The Duke of Rothesay, in 2019, and Campbell's also holds the Royal Warrant for HM The Queen for their tailoring services.
