Eat & Drink
Flavoursome fare
Locally and lovingly sourced, our food and drink is a celebration of the spectacular surrounding landscape. From finely finessed dining to inventive new interpretations, your Scottish culinary journey begins here.
We want to share our wonderful 1887 and Bo & Muc dining experiences with as many people as possible, but space in our restaurants is limited.
With that in mind, we strongly encourage both hotel residents and those just stopping by for a meal to reserve a table with as much advance notice as possible.
For casual dining
We welcome both residents and walk-ins to our bars and restaurants, though we do recommend booking for all occasions.
If you are just passing by and fancy refreshments and snacks in the Beinn Bar, please just pop in.
Hotel residents
Please note that tables in our restaurants are not automatically reserved for residents for dinner, and without a booking we can’t guarantee a table for you.
Settling your bill
All bars and restaurants at The Torridon are cashless, so do be prepared to pay by card. However, you can settle your bill if you’re staying at the hotel at checkout.
1887 Restaurant
Our award-winning 3 AA Rosette restaurant takes inspiration from farm, garden, hillside and loch with a relentless focus on the quality of our ingredients. The wild and beautiful flavours of the Highlands, unleashed.
Afternoon Tea
Make time for the soothing ritual of afternoon tea. Expect dainty cakes and savoury morsels, all served with a side of majestic mountain views in our 1887 eatery.
Bo & Muc Brasserie
Savour simplicity, seasonality, and the Scottish larder at Bo & Muc Brasserie. From Torridon Farm pork to Highland beef, our field-to-fork philosophy brings only the freshest tastes to the fore.
The Whisky Bar
Sip and savour at our oak-panelled Whisky Bar. Choose from 365 single malts, sample rare finds, and delve into the history of this nectar of the gods. And gin lovers? We’ve got tipples to tickle your tastebuds too.
The Beinn Bar
This former dairy is now a cosy hub where you can explore local ales, Scottish gins (like our own Arcturus), and warm Highland hospitality. Relax with a pint or a dram by the fire – muddy boots and paws welcome!
