Williamson Foodservice

Based in Inverness, its 100 staff supply produce to over 1,000 customers, many of whom, like The Torridon, are located in remote and rural parts of the Highlands and Islands.

With a strong commitment to provenance and seasonality, Williamson's champions small, artisan producers ranging from local cheese makers to farmers who have some of the best food and drink stories to tel. The company, which is run by Gary Williamson, who took over the reins from his father, is well aligned with The Torridon's 'field to fork' ethos.

Originally created as a new sales opportunity for a local fresh product grower, Williamson Foodservice now offers its customers outstanding quality and an extensive choice of over 200 dood and drink suppliers that span the UK, including fresh fruit and vegetables, bakery products, artisan cheese and dairy, as well as premium soft drinks, selected ingredients and fresh fish, meat and poultry. Working closely with The Torridon Chefs, they are frequently able to source seasonal requests and unique ingredients.

With the remote location and Scottish weather providing a dramatic backdrop to The Torridon whatever the time of year, Williamson Foodservice's modern fleet of refrigerated and frozen vehicles means deliveries are successfully made come rain or shine.

Dan and Rohaise have known Gary for years and have a number of mutual friends in the Highlands. Both businesses have been family owned and run for years and share a real passion for local produce and showcasing the great produce available in the Highlands.
